Honors Freshman Physics & Summer Preparation
For many students, Honors Freshman Physics is the most challenging course they have encountered up to that point in their academic career. The class moves quickly, covers a large amount of material, and requires students to develop strong problem-solving skills rather than simply memorize facts. Even highly successful students are often surprised by the pace and difficulty of the course.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with Honors Freshman Physics students from many schools throughout Massachusetts. In particular, I have helped a large number of students from Wellesley High School succeed in one of the most demanding freshman physics programs in the area. I am familiar with the curriculum, common challenges students face, and the skills needed to excel in the course.
